Corné van Niekerk is a SAFTA award-winning editor and animator with a background spanning documentary editing, animation and graphic design. His work on productions including the Netflix original documentary Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey, directed by Oscar-winning director Pippa Ehrlich, reflects both the calibre of projects he is trusted with and the standard he consistently delivers.
His graphic design background gives him a visual sensibility that goes beyond the edit; an instinct for what looks right, what serves the story, and what elevates the final product. Corné is detail-driven and deeply story-focused, with the versatility to move across formats and the visual intelligence to make each one feel considered and purposeful.
